Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We wish to send you a special Christmas greeting in the name of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We praise the Lord God for having sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who has wonderfully blessed us, and for having sent his Holy Spirit to guide and teach us. We hope and pray that He has been blessing you wonderfully during this special Christmas season and that your life has been filled with His grace and mercy.  We want to give you a special thanks for your continued prayers for us and support of the ministry here in Peru.  We definitely see the results of your praying for us.  You are special people called by our Lord Jesus Christ to minister to His children.  Thank you for your faithfulness to His calling.  Thank you for your love for Him, for us, and for His children.

November and December have been bittersweet months.  We have been preparing to return to the States for several months of homeland ministry, and have been turning over the ministries to those young people that we have worked so hard to train during our years here. It is difficult to leave them, especially since we feel like they are our own children, but we realize that they must continue the ministry trusting only in Jesus Christ, and we must entrust them to the ever faithful Lord Jesus. The great blessing is that we are already seeing fruit produced in some of their lives as they take on their new responsibilities.  We have been distributing our talents to these faithful servants.  They are expecting our return in the future, but the date is unknown.  They wish to be found worthy when we return to Peru and we hope to rejoice in the fruits of their ministries with them.

The work has advanced significantly and we have a large ministry team that we are leaving behind.  We now have 25 different Kid's Club's that meet each week, that minister to around 1600 children, adolescents, youth and adults. We have several new churches in the Canta valley that will be cared for by Mision-Amen and in the low jungle around Puerto Bermudez that will be cared for by Pablo Paredes and other members of the church there.  Please be in prayer for the works and workers we will be leaving behind in the following places:  In the Mantaro Valley: Pichcus, El Tambo, Ahuac, San Jeronimo, Ancala, Coto Coto, Chanchas, Tres Esquinas, Pilcomayo,  Cajas Chico 1, Cajas Chico 2, Parque Constitution, La Esperanza, Huamancaca, Sapallanga, Justicia Paz y Vida, and Ayacucho.  In the Jungle:  San Martin de Pango, Puerto Bermudez, Palcazo, Pelmaz, Quirishari, Santa Rosa, La Esperanza, La Merced, Puente Paucartambo, Satipo, and Shringamazu.  In the Canta Valley:  Canta, Yangas, and Chocas.

We would also like for you to pray specifically for some of our principal leaders in the work.  Please pray that the Lord Jesus would protect them from the attacks and trickery of the enemy, that he would give them physical and spiritual strength and wisdom, and that he would give them favor in the eyes of their flocks that they will be discipling, and in the eyes of the lost that they will be evangelizing.  Please also pray for his provision for their economic needs and provision for their ministry needs.  Their names are:  From Huancayo:  Susan, Cinthia, Jennifer, Genaro, Erika, Karina G., Verincia, Carmen, Rosa, Luz, Augustin, Jesus, Roberto, Hualbeto, Josue, Andrea, Katy, Liz, Pilar, Edith, Doris, Jonathan, Samuel, Gonzalo, Cesar A., Lorena, Amado, Angel, Cesar L., Karina L., Felix, Ela, Eloi, Yola and Juan.  From the jungle:  Pablo, Flor, Pedro, Jorge, Valentino, Lester, Charo, Abram, Enrique, and Moises.  From Ayacucho: Freddy, Glades, and Rocio.  Please also be in pray for those with Mision-AMEN that lead the work in the Canta Valley and the mission school:  Obed, Cynthia, Graciela, Victor, Karina P., Zulima, and Bethsabe.

Please be in prayer with us for the transition back to the states.  Especially pray for our children, Benjamin, Joshua, and Mary Beth, as they leave behind special friends again, and have to adapt to a new culture in the U.S.  Please pray that our time in the U.S. will be productive, and that we have opportunities to raise the additional support we need to return to the work in Peru, and that we could find additional persons called to be part of the missionary team in Peru.  Covenant with us and the youth leadership team to be in regular prayer and fasting for the ministry to the lost and dying youth of Huancayo and the desperate situation here in Peru.  Please pray for the leaders in the churches here; for their spiritual protection and growth in the Lord Jesus.  Also be in prayer for Obed Alvarez, the head of Mision-AMEN, as well as their other leaders and missionaries.  Please pray for our safety as we travel, and that we will boldly speak God's Word wherever we go.

We pray that God is drawing you closer and closer to Him every day. God bless you.  We love you.

                                                                                                                           Yours in Christ,

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE***
We will be returning home in January of 2005 for several months to raise additional support in order to return for an additional 4 or 5 years to work in the ministry here in Peru.  We will also be using this time to recruit new missionaries for the work in Peru.  If you would like to have us share with your church, Sunday school class, in your mission conference,  or other group, we would love to hear from you in order to schedule a time to visit.

We are in need of a multimedia projector to use during our time in the states for presentations.  We would also like to bring it back to use here in the work in Peru when we return.  If you could help us with this need, we would be grateful.  Please contact us by e-mail at acivey@mindspring.com about sharing or helping with the projector.
